Over 200,000 bees attacked residents in an Aledo neighborhood Saturday morning.
The Mullins family says they awoke Saturday to the sound of their dogs being attacked by swarming bees. The family ran to help their pets, and the bees attacked.
Experts estimate the massive swarm of bees had been building a hive inside the walls of the family's home for upwards of three years.
The swarm attacked the Mullins and their animals before moving down the street and terrorizing neighbors. Many of the bees had to be contained before authorities could help.
Fortunately, no serious injuries were reported.
