DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - The Dallas City Council meets later today and will again go over the city's budget.
The proposed budget totals $3.4 billion and council members will have to figure out how to spend it.
Top priorities include public safety, ecconomic development and affordable housing, but city leaders are under increasing pressure to hire more police officers to help deal with the city's uptick in violent crimes.
