DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - Dallas Police have arrested a man for the brutal beating of a 7 month old child.
Police say 27-year-old Diogenes Jackson is accused of beating his girlfriend and her infant daughter .
Jackson reportedly flew into a rage after he found old text messages on his girlfriend's phone.
The baby was rushed to Children's Medical Center Dallas. The morning news reports the child suffered brain bleeding and had bruises all over her back. Her mother was treated at Parkland.
Jackson was arrested Saturday at his west Oak Cliff apartment .
