DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - A man in Dallas is charged with murder after police say he shot and killed his wife.
Police say it happened around 11:45 p.m. Wednesday on Silverock Drive northeast of White Rock Lake.
Police were already in the area because of a report of gunshots. They say they heard an additional shot, and the sound of a voice asking for help.
Officers found the victim already covered over with a sheet, and found the suspect on the floor having some type of medical emergency.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
Reports say the husband and wife owned the houses next door to each other, but it's not clear whether they were estranged.
The suspect was taken to the hospital due to his medical emergency, and is facing that charge of murder.
Police are still investigating what may have led to the incident.
