DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - The Dallas Police Department continues to loss more officers than it's hiring, according to reports.
In the first three months of the fiscal year, which began October 1st , the Dallas Police Department lost 98 officers and hired 42, according to the numbers presented to the City Council.
The city has struggled for years to hire more officers, even increasing pay, hoping to attract more recruits, but the police chief admits recruitment remains a challenge.
