DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - Dallas Police officers are honoring one of their own today for his service to the department and the community.
Dallas Police Officer Brian Nolff, a 27-year veteran of the force, has been named Dallas's Officer of the Year.
Nolff's fellow officers say he's a trsutworthy presence on the force and constantly builds up the morale.
Nolff has also been recognized for fundraising and charity efforts. He personally raised money to send officers to last year's National Police Memorial in Washington D.C. and created an initiative that gave shoes to hundreds of Dallas's needy kids.
