DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - Police have identified the child who was hit and killed by a car while out playing Sunday afternoon in Dallas.
Dallas Police say 6-year-old Ja'Quan Smith was outside playing in his front yard on Sunnyvale Street around 2:30 yesterday afternoon when he ran into the street and was hit.
He was rushed to Children's Medical Center Dallas, where he died.
Police say the woman driving the car stopped, they have questioned and so far no charges have been filed.
