DENTON (1080 KRLD) - Denton police arrest a woman on a charge of injury to a child.
Police say 25-year-old Tania Rangel claimed her child had fallen on Thursday when she called 911. The child was taken to Cook Children's Hospital in Fort Worth.
Doctors say the injuries were not consistent with a fall, and notified CPS. Investigators say the child had suffered a skull fracture and had signs of previous head injuries.
Rangel is charged with injury to a child and is being held on $500,000 bond.
