FORT WORTH (1080 KRLD) - Last week, JPS Hospital management blamed its elevator maintenance company for critically injuring one of its nurses.
It told the hospital in the letter that the hospital would be solely responsible for any injury or damage that resulted from work performed by anyone other than a trained TKE technician.
The letter was signed for on January 14th, six days before nurse Carren Stratford suffered brain injuries after being crushed in one of the hospital's elevators.
Stratford was recently transferred out of the hospital's intensive care unit.
