About 6:30 Saturday night Dallas police were called to a residence in the 8600 block of Old Hickory Trail. When they arrived they saw a suspect hanging from a second story window, who then jumped to the ground. He was held by police as they entered the apartment. Inside they found 3 year old Bryson Edwards suffering from an apparent knife wound, who was later pronounced dead at an area hospital. His mother had fled with her 7 year old daughter to a nearby residence when she returned police found she had also been stabbed by the suspect, 35 year old Brandon Edwards, who is her husband, now to be charged with capital murder. The mom is in stable condition the daughter was not injured.
