EULESS (1080 KRLD) - A memorial dedicated to homicide victims from across Texas was damaged last weekend in what appears to be a hit and run.
The roadside memorial is in Euless, on the corner of Mosier Valley Rd. and Trinity Blvd. Fort Worth Police say it looks like a car went off the road and onto the embankment, running over three bushes, a bench, two crosses and the fence that surrounds "Our Garden of Angels."
The memorial was started by Carolyn Barker to honor her granddaughter Amy Robinson, who was murdered in 1998. Since Amy's cross was planted in April 2000, more than 100 have been added.
It's believed the cost to repair the garden could be up to $7,000.
Police found tire tracks and a Honda headlight at the scene.
