MCKINNEY (1080 KRLD) - A former daycare worker, who was arrested last month after police said multiple infant children were injured in her care, is now facing more charges.
McKinney police say 44-year-old Jessica Wiese is facing seven additional felony counts of injury to a child after more parents came forward claiming their children were also abused by Wiese.
Wiese was an employee of Joyous Montessori in McKinney, north of the Sam Rayburn Tollway. Wiese, who is now facing a total of 8 charges, was arrested on Dec. 6 after a two-month-old child suffered broken bones.
At the time of her arrest, officials believed there were additional children who had been injured under her care.
Wiese is being held in the Collin County Jail on a $25,000 bond.
