FORNEY (1080 KRLD) - A former Forney soccer coach has been arrested on a misdemeanor warrant in connection with a hazing scandal that happened two years ago.
Officials say 41-year old Kris Duplissey was booked in the Kaufman County jail on a charge of failure to report abuse.
The Kaufman County Sheriff's office has said a player reported allegations of sexual assault that happened in the locker rooms, but that Duplissey did not follow up in a timely manner.
A former team member, 19-year old Jacob Fisher, is facing a sexual assault charge. His case has not been set for a hearing.
Duplissey resigned last year. The charge is a class A misdemeanor, which carries a maximum penalty of a year in jail.
