FORT WORTH (1080 KRLD) - A Fort Worth charity needs your help to fix its truck so that it can continue its mission.
The organization is called Fort Worth Metro and it travels throughout the city with a 24-foot sound and stage trailer to deliver toys, clothing, food and so forth to families in need.
The truck that pulls that trailer recently blew a cylinder, putting it out of commission until it can come up with $30,000 to fix it.
It's hosting a fundraiser Saturday afternoon in the parking lot of the Park Plaza office tower on Parkview Drive.
It's also collecting donations online and as of Wednesday morning, the group is one-third of the way to its goal.
