FORT WORTH (1080 KRLD) - Sabrina Hull is turning the darkest day in her life into a month of positivity and kindness.
Sabrina's husband, Fort Worth Police Corporal Garrett Hull was killed in the line of duty, after being shot on September 13, 2018. It was the end of watch for badge #3105.
But Sabrina knew that she had to focus on the good. And Corporal Garrett Hull did a lot of good.
"I wanted to focus on the life he led," Sabrina said. "A big part of his life was his calling as a police officer, and his badge."
So after some thought, Sabrina came up with idea of encouraging others to do 31 acts of kindness in the month of May, the fifth month of the year. 3105.
In just its first year, Mission #3105 has immediately caught fire.
"There's been lots of folks paying for lunches and leaving gratuity in the amount of $31.05. There's been letters written to people. There have been people who have forgiven acts against them. In the spirit of kindness they're choosing to do this. And I just think, 'What a blessing!'"
Mission #3105 is encouraging people who choose to do acts of kindness in Corporal Hull's honor in the month of May to share them to Facebook and tag "@Mission3105"
