DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - It was a fortune cookie from his granddaughter that lead 66-year-old  Charles Jackson to his fortune.

The North Carolina man won Tuesday's Powerball jackpot worth more than  $344 million. Jackson opted for the cash option of $233 million.

Jackson says all that money won't change him, he still plans to just wear his jeans, but he might spring for a new pair.

His brother will get at least $1 million, he says they had a promise to share if either of them won the lottery. Jackson also plans to donate a portion of his winnings to charity.

He first he thought he won a $50,000 prize, which he was thrilled about. But when he checked again he told his wife, "you ain't going to believe this — I got it all."
