GARLAND (1080 KRLD) - Garland Police are looking for a hit and run driver involved in a fatal accident Sunday night. It happened, shortly after 10:30 p.m.
Police and Fire found a pedestrian had been struck on Broadway Boulevard and Oates Road. The man was rushed to the hospital where he later died from his injuries.
He has been identified as 22-year-old Sabjot Sureka.
Investigators believe the man was crossing Broadway when he was struck in the southbound lanes by an unknown vehicle. The vehicle involved did not stop and simply drove away.
Police are asking for the public's help in identifying and locating the vehicle and it's driver. Anyone with information is asked to call the Garland Police Department at 972-485-4840.
