IRVING (1080 KRLD) - Some travelers at DFW Airport earlier this month may have been exposed to measles.
Tarrant County Public Health says a passenger who connected through DFW Airport on May 15th has tested positive for measles.
Measles is extremely contagious and is transmitted when an infected person exhales or coughs.
Officials say if you, or someone you know, were in the Terminal D customs area on May 15th between 5:15 and 7:45 p.m., on the SkyLink between 5:45 and 8:00 p.m., or in Terminal A in the area of gate 8 between 6:00 and 10:50 p.m., the department says you have been exposed to measles.
Check your immunization records and watch for any symptoms between now and June 5th.
