EL PASO (KRLD) - An El Paso oilman is offering more than $32 million for a home in West Texas. But it's not just any home. It's the historic KC-7 ranch.

The ranch sits on 37,000 acres in the foothills of the Davis Mountains in Reeves County. It features a 10,000-foot lodge that dates back to the late 1800's, a guest house, and several corrals and barns.

Paul Foster, the owner of  Franklin Mountain Capital is offering 32.5 million in cash for the property.

Fort Worth oilman Thomas Darden is being forced to sell the ranch as part of a bankruptcy proceeding. The asking price is $50 million but Foster's bid is the highest so far.

Anyone interested in making an offer for the ranch has until Jan. 23 to do so.
