
DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - An activist in the African American community has has been arrested.
Dominique Alexander of the Next Generation Action Network has been charged with felony assault causing serious bodily injury and misdemeanor assault for family violence.
Alexander's girlfriend told Dallas police he beat her during an argument.
Alexander most recently led a rally at Dallas city hall, demanding that a man who punched a woman in a Deep Ellum parking lot be charged with a hate crime.
