CEDAR HILL (1080 KRLD) - Cedar Hill Police are increasing patrols near parks and community pools after a man reportedly exposed himself to a 13-year-old boy Thursday.

The teen told police he and some friends were playing in Crawford Park at 401 Straus Rd., when they were approached by the suspect, described as an African-American man in his mid-20s with a beard and grayish hair. The boy said the man repeatedly asked him to meet behind the restrooms in the park.

Authorities said when the unassuming teen walked over to see what was happening, he found the suspect exposing himself. The boy then told the man he was calling police, and the suspect left the park on foot.

Cedar Hill Police are searching for the man. He was wearing a green polo shirt, gray shorts and sandals.

Anyone with information on the suspect's location is asked to call the Cedar Hill Police Department.
