MCKINNEY (1080 KRLD) - A McKinney woman is going to prison after pleading guilty in a plot to murder her husband.
Chansamorn Pokai was sentenced to 40 years, ending a four-year saga that began when her husband was gunned down in the couple's bathroom.
Prosecutors described a murder-for-hire scheme hatched by Pokai and her boyfriend who, together, hired a hit-man to murder Richard Moore.
In March, the hit-man was convicted of capital murder and is doing life without parole.
Pokai's boyfriend has also pleaded guilty and he was sentenced to 28 years.
