MESQUITE (1080 KRLD) - A Mesquite woman was sexually assaulted after accepting a ride from a stranger Monday morning.
According to police, the unidentified woman said she was walking in the area near North Galloway Ave and Town East Boulevard when a man pulled over and asked her if she wanted a lift.
It was a cold morning so she accepted.
She told him where she was going and when they arrived she says he sexually assaulted her.
After the attack she got out of the car and told someone what happened, that person called police.
The woman described her attacker as a bald, light skinned black man. He was last seen driving a black Chrysler 300.
