DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - Dallas County Health and Human Services is reporting 105 additional positive cases of COVID-19 today, bringing the total case count in Dallas County to 1,537.
Three new deaths were also reported due to the virus, including a woman in her 90's who was a resident of a long-term care facility in the City of Dallas, and 2 men in their 80's who were residents of the City of Dallas. All had been hospitalized and had additional underlying health conditions.
The numbers of intensive care unit hospitalizations from COVID-19 from this past week have exceeded the peak week of ICU hospitalizations from influenza this past 2019-2020 season in Dallas County, according to officials.
