Survey: 110 Million People Went Into Coronavirus Outbreak With Credit Card Debt

DALLAS (KRLD) - Ted Rossman with creditcards.com says 59% of credit cardholders were in debt when the coronavirus outbreak began.

"Our research showed that Gen X cardholders and millennials are more likely to carry the most debt," Rossman said.

He says most of the debt comes from medical bills, car repairs and just day to day expenses.

To get out of debt, Ted recommends zero percent balance transfer credit cards or even personal loan debt consolidation.
