2 Wounded In North East Mall Shooting, Suspect In Custody

HURST (1080 KRLD) - A 35-year-old man shot in a mall parking garage over the weekend is expected to make a full recovery.

Officials say the unidentified man remains in the hospital after being shot on the 2nd level of the Dillard’s parking garage at the North East Mall on Sunday afternoon.

Police revealed Monday that 21-year-old Tacorian Keith Howard faces multiple charges for the shooting, including aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and unlawful carrying of a weapon. 

Another man, who was injured in the incident when a bullet fragment struck his arm, was treated at the scene. 

Police have yet to release any details on what led up to the shooting.
