A very chilly and frosty start this morning, unheard of for this time of the year. A quick warm up today and tomorrow, before another cold front drops temperatures Friday into Saturday.
There will be a few showers along the front as it pushes through on Friday.
By this weekend, a strong disturbance will move across Texas the second half of Saturday into Sunday. As of now, I am not expecting severe weather here in DFW, but areas south of I-20 may see a couple of severe storms south of the warm front.
A break in the storms Monday and Tuesday, but things may get a bit interesting by next Wednesday. With temps in the 80s LOT's of surface moisture in place and a possible strong disturbance approaching, I'll be watching for the possibility for severe weather.
We are still a week away form this possible event, so there is plenty of time to monitor and prepare. It is mid April, so stay weather aware!
