The adult son of Trophy Club mayor Nick Sanders has died from the Coronavirus.
Confirmation came last night from Denton County Judge Andy Eads, a friend of the family, who said he had permission to speak from Sanders and his wife Lynda.
Both Sanders and their 48-year-old son Wade were recently diagnosed with the Coronavirus. Although his parents have recovered, Wade Sanders died this week.
The Star-Telegram reports Sanders had also been suffering from melanoma, a form of cancer that generally occurs in the skin.
Wade Sanders leaves his wife and their 16-year-old son and 20-year-old daughter.
