DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - The jury pool for the Amber Guyger murder trial will show up in Dallas today, one year to the day since she shot and killed an upstairs neighbor named Botham Jean in his own apartment.
At the time, Guyger was a Dallas police officer but she has since been fired.
She tells investigators she believed it was her apartment and that Jean was an intruder.
Her side has asked the judge to move the trial out of Dallas County because of pre-trial publicity.
Today, the potential jurors will fill out a detailed questionnaire and will likely be personally questioned by the judge herself before she decides on the change-of-venue request.
