ST. LOUIS (1080 KRLD) - An American Airlines flight from Chicago to DFW was forced to make an emergency landing yesterday when someone tried to open an exit door while in mid air.
"He just started, have you ever seen a mouse go through a cardboard box that it cannot get out of, trying to get its way out?" said Jonathan Cowan, who witnessed the incident. "He reminded me of a mouse trying to get out of a cardboard box, and he was just going at every single lever right in front of me, on the door."
Passengers helped subdue the unidentified man, keeping him from opening the door and endangering the lives of everyone on board AA flight 2300.
The man was arrested in St. Louis.
The rest of the passengers finally made it to DFW early this morning.
