FORT WORTH (1080 KRLD) - At Texas Motor Speedway, graduating seniors are crossing the finish line in more ways than one.
With social distancing a necessity these days, several high schools in Denton County are holding their graduations inside Texas Motor Speedway.
Graduates were seated on the front straightaway - on chairs spaced six feet apart, and as their names are called, they accepted their diplomas without shaking anyone's hand and walked across the finish line.
Argyle High School was the first to have its graduation ceremony at TMS yesterday. Valedictorian Sonali Gandhi says it certainly was a unique way to end high school.
