Arlington police say they have made an arrest in a sex assault that happened at a city park back in September.
The victim was sexually assaulted at gunpoint at Crystal Canyon Park.
After the attack, police put out the word they were looking for a 5-foot-5 light-skinned black man, about 25 years old with a tattoo on his right hand.
Detectives put the information in a natonal database and were contacted by Tyler Police Department a few weeks ago.
Their police uncovered video of the assault during another investigation and say the suspect, Jessie D. Ray, was already in their custody at the Smith County jail on weapons and narcotics charges.
Ray has now been charged with aggravated sexual assault and will be extradited back to Tarrant County.
