ARLINGTON (1080 KRLD) - An Arlington police officer's family is very grateful to his boss, Police Chief Will Johnson.
Yesterday, Christmas Day, Chief Johnson worked the patrol shift for one of his officers. This allowed officer William Bill to spend Christmas Day with his young family.
The officer's kids spoke of how grateful they are to have dad home with them to open presents, play family games and just hang out.
This has become something of a tradition for Johnson who recalls his younger days when he, too, had to patrol the streets on Christmas and other family holidays.
