FORT WORTH (1080 KRLD) - A man who allegedly set a hotel clerk on fire in an attempted robbery over the weekend is behind bars.
Earlier this week, the Fort Worth Fire Department released surveillance video of a man squirting flammable liquid towards the clerk at the Budget Host Inn near the 820 North Loop and Beach Street and igniting it, causing minor burns to the clerk and minor property damage.
Mike Drivdahl with Fort Worth Fire says that footage was instrumental in the tips that led to the arrest of 48-year-old David Sarkisian.
Sarkisian was arrested without incident last night and is charged with Arson of a Habitation Causing Bodily Injury.
Sarkisian is in the Tarrant County Jail on $100,000 bond.
