At least 30 arrests were made during George Floyd demonstrations in Dallas yesterday and last night.
Several gatherings were peaceful in the afternoon and early evening.
But the city's new overnight curfew kicked in at 7 p.m. and when the crowds failed to disperse, police began making arrests.
Police Chief Renee Hall says the 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. curfew could remain in effect for several nights.
