DESOTO (1080 KRLD) - The embezzlement of a former DeSoto employee was front-and-center at a meeting of the DeSoto Economic Development Corporation last night.
Auditors presented their findings after a detailed search of Jeremiah Quarles' spending when he was the Corporation's CEO.
He's already been convicted of stealing the money.
Many attending the meeting are just as angry at his wife, City Councilwoman Candice Quarles.
Critics are calling on her to step down, but she says she will do no such thing.
