Despite the Coronavirus outbreak, North Texas homes just keep selling briskly.
August sales were up 11% compared to a year ago. In fact, with 12,000 homes sold, it was the highest number ever in the month of August.
Also, last month's median home resales price of $292,000 was up 9% from a year earlier.
Many economists and real estate experts point to persistently low mortgage interest rates as the main driver of the sales surge.
