ARLINGTON (1080 KRLD) - The Arlington GM plant is among the Big Three automakers' factories which will partially shut down on a rotating basis for sanitzing to fight the Coronavirus.
At first, the UAW demanded GM, Ford and Fiat Chrysler completely close the doors on its US factories because of fears over the virus.
After talking it over, the union has agreed to let the Big Three keep the plants open most of the time in exchange for new safety measures and enforcement of federal recommendations on "social distancing" on the job-site.
