Blue Bell confirms an employee in it's Brenham, Texas factory has tested positive for COVID-19.
The Texas-based creamery says the employee is quarantined, not working, and is under medical supervision.
Blue Bell officials say they've taken the necessary steps to identify and notify employees who worked closely with the employee. Those employees have been asked to self-quarantine and monitor for any symptoms for 14 days.
Blue Bell says they are also deep-cleaning and disinfecting the area where the employee worked.
