DALLAS (KRLD) - Like something out of a movie, Fort Worth police caught a burglar after he fell through the ceiling of a northside supermarket where he was hiding out.
Just after 2:30 a.m. a 911 caller told police that men were trying to break into Elrod's Cost Plus, a supermarket on northwest 25th Street about a mile west of the Stockyards.
While searching inside, officers were startled when one of the burglars literally fell at their feet after crashing through the ceiling.
A man wearing a Cowboys jersey was seen handcuffed and being loaded into a police SUV to be hauled to jail along with another man.
