Not everyone agrees but Carroll ISD school trustees are sticking by their decision to offer a mix of on-campus and online learning this Fall.
Last night, the school board hosted a three-hour virtual meeting for parents and students to air their views. Some spoke passionately that families should have the option to choose whether their children learn in person or virtually.
Others, just as passionately, insisted it is unsafe to allow students back on campus right now.
Last month, Carroll ISD trustees agreed that parents should have the option and they reinforced that decision last night.
The district administration says 57% of families have opted for on-campus classes.
