DALLAS (KRLD) - A man suspected of killing his wife at an upscale hotel in Dallas earlier this week is now facing a murder charge.
Police were called to a room at the Hotel Zaza on Leonard Street in Dallas Monday night. Guests reported hearing screams coming from a room at the hotel, followed by a gunshot.
When police arrived, they found 32-year-old Jacqueline-Rose Nicholas in the room with a gunshot wound. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officers say her husband, 30-year-old Peter Noble Nicholas III, was also in the room - and was covered in blood.
Police say he struggled with officers but was eventually taken into custody and then taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. He has been charged with murder in the case.
