DALLAS (NBC DFW) - The Collin County Health Department on Saturday reported the sixth and seventh presumptive positive tests for the new coronavirus.
Both patients, one a 47-year-old woman and the other a 56-year-old man, are in Plano. Neither has any underlying health conditions and both are self-isolating in their homes, according to the health department.
On Friday, the health department reported the fifth case -- a 40-year-old Frisco woman -- had tested presumptive positive.
That person has no underlying medical conditions and remains in self-quarantine at her home. The woman had not recently traveled out of state, so health officials are working to determine whether the case was spread by someone in the community, a news release said.
Collin County Health says there are 63 people being monitored as of Saturday afternoon.
