DESOTO (1080 KRLD) - Some in DeSoto are loudly demanding the ouster of Councilwoman Candice Quarles.
Last night's DeSoto city council meeting grew rowdy with shouts that Quarles should resign over suggestions that she benefited from her husband's theft of tax revenues when he was head of the city's economic development corporation.
In 2016, Jeremiah Quarles resigned from his position, and reports say he was under pressure from the city manager.
