COVID-19 Cases Continue To Climb Across North Texas Counties

As the number of new coronavirus cases continues to rise in North Texas, hospitals are now working on plans to deal with a surge many suspect is coming.

On Tuesday, Dallas County reported 1,000 new positive coronavirus cases, along with 20 additional deaths, which ties a record for most deaths in one day.

A total of  35,914 people have been infected in the Dallas County area with COVID-19 since the pandemic began, and there has been a total of 477 deaths.

Tarrant County reported 531 new coronavirus cases, and no new deaths, for the second day in a row. 19,014 total infections have been reported in Tarrant County along with 272 total deaths.   

645 people with COVID-19 are in Tarrant County hospitals, according to officials.

Denton county reported a record 154 new virus cases, along with 1 death. A total of 4,316 cases have been reported in Denton County along with 41 deaths.

Collin County added 115 new virus cases and 3 more deaths.  So far,  4,800 people have been infected with COVID-19 in Collin County with a total of 61 deaths from the virus.
