FRISCO (1080 KRLD) - The Dallas Cowboys have gone offensive with their first pick of the NFL draft.
Last night, Dallas selected Oklahoma wide receiver CeeDee Lamb with the 17th pick in the first round.
Many draft watchers did not expect Lamb to still be available by the time the Cowboys made their pick.
Even before the draft, ESPN analyst Mel Kiper said "Amari Cooper, Michael Gallup and Lamb would instantly become one of the NFL's top wide receiver trios."
Lamb graduated from Foster High School in Rosenberg about 40 miles southwest of Houston.
