Every night this week, demonstrators have occupied Fort Worth businesses, primarily restaurants and taverns, to show their displeasure over the death of George Floyd.
Last night, it happened again when a group entered Texas de Brazil across from the Tarrant County court house, disrupting the business by chanting slogans and waving signs while diners were trying to enjoy their meals.
Once the disrupters left, Fort Worths police prevented them from reentering the building.
Similar scenes played out as the crowd marched through downtown.
When it looked as if they would try to occupy another business, officers intervened and moved them along.
One organizer tells the Star-Telegram they're just going to keept it up, with the goal of hurting sales tax revenues from the businesses to local and state government.
