Dallas County Coronavirus numbers are looking better but there's still a question about how accurate they are.

Yesterday, Dallas County reported 426 new cases which continues a downward trend over the past week.

However, Saturday's number was alarmingly high, over 1,200, but it was revised sharply downward as County Judge Clay Jenkins blamed a glitch in the state's data collection procedures.

Now, Dallas County Health director Phillip Huang says yesterday's 426 could be artificially low because of the same bug.

Both both Huang and Jenkins seem cautiously optimistic the trend will continue lower.

For more than a week, Dallas County has seen fewer than a thousand daily cases, this follows an 18-day stretch when each day's figure was over a thousand.

Dallas County also reported two new deaths Monday bringing the total fatalities to 607
