DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - Dallas County has now reported a second "presumptive positive case" of the coronavirus.

This announcement came just hours after the first "presumptive positive" case was announced Tuesday afternoon.

The first case is a 77-year-old man who is from out-of-state but who is being treated at a Dallas-area hospital. The patient is described as having an "extensive travel history."

The second patient is called a "close contact of the first." As such, Dallas County Health and Human Services was expecting the second person would turn out to be positive and they stress the two cases "are not indicative of community spread."
