DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - Dallas County Health officials reported a single-day high of 237 new COVID-19 cases on Monday.
"Today's numbers continue an upward trend of positive cases" said Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins. "Dallas County will supplement its #SaferAtHome order today to make the Governor's recommendations for reopened services requirements in Dallas County."
Three additional deaths were also reported in Dallas County, including a man in his 60's from Irving, and two men from the Dallas area, both in their 80's.
Dallas County now has a total of 4,370 positive cases and 114 deaths.
So far, hospitals have been able to handle the amount of people who require treatment due to the virus.
